I also see it, but I'm staying on the platform and I keep contributing with content because the positive interactions are worth it - and because I believe that these platforms must not be left to the extremists and fanatics. To stay sane, I unfollow a lot, and politely point out any content that crosses the line (I also guess that, being a man, the amount of abuse that I'm getting is much smaller).
