Did you know that Facebook publishes a quarterly report about the most widely viewed content?
The most popular post in Q3 2021, with 94.3 million views, is a text card asking “Who can honestly say they never had a DUI? I’ll wait.”
More than reading the report itself, I recommend Charlie Warzel’s analysis, as he tries to figure out some strategies that might work for a platform that wants to empower its members to create good-quality content, instead of pursuing algorithmic incentives that tend to push content toward the lowest common.
